Marco Hernandez 2-0 Amateur Caged Chaos Power Team Brazilian Jiu jitsu of San Antonio, TX
Marco "The Hammer" Hernandez goes 2-0 with his recent win at Caged Chaos II November 18th OOOOOOWWWWEEEEEEE this was a war!! Marco was calm and relaxed backstage before his match. Warming up you would think this guy was a veteran. As his music came on to head to the cage, Marco turned on the switch and was all business as he walked to the battlefield. The 1st round started with Marco landing punches first. Marco landed good solid uppercuts that stunned his opponent. Then Marco does what he does best, a big slam then began the ground and pound. Marco worked from side control to eventually mount when his opponent was able to escape and stand up. The round finished with punches being exchanged and Marco pinning his opponent up against the cage attempting another takedown. (Marco wins round 1) The 2nd round starts much as the first with both fighters slugging it out in the middle of the cage. Then Marco gets the takedown. Marco works from his opponents guard and does some damage. His opponent attempts a sweep but is unable to get the top position and a scramble ensues. The round ends with both fighters extremely tired. (Judges gave Marco's opponent this round and I suggested that the judges wake the hell up!!) Round 3 starts the same as before with punches being exchanged and then the takedown by Marco. This round was all heart. Marco was exacusted as was his opponent. Marco eventually works to mount and starts to rain punches down and his opponent is unable to escape. The bell rings and Marco is declared the winner by split decision. Props to his opponent for a tough fight!! We are all proud of you. You went in there and represented. Keep training hard brother!! Peace
