Debbie "The Wrecking Machine" Garcia 2-0 Pro

Debbie Garcia made history as she and Deborah Wofford from Grapplers Domain battled each other in the first sanctioned female MMA fight here in The Xtreme Fight Championship November 10th at San Antonio's AT&T Center.

Debbie Garcia definitely earned the name The Wrecking Machine as she destroyed her opponent in 1:20 of the first round!!

Debbie couldn't wait to get in the cage to show what the women of MMA were all about. As Garcia made her way to do battle the crowd erupted. Everyone wanted to see a performance and that's exactly what they got.

Round 1

Garcia gets off first with a 1-2 combo and a big takedown that sends the crowd into a frenzy. From half guard Garcia lands vicious elbows and Wofford is able to get Garcia into her guard. Garcia lands some punches and stands up. The referee stands Wofford up and the two start again from standing. Garcia comes in for punches but Wofford launches a side kick to the stomach that pushes Garcia back. Wofford tries a spinning back kick but misses and Garcia closes the distance. Wofford tries for a Thai clinch but Garcia defends and executes a hip sweep and takes her opponent to the ground. From side control Garcia lands sick elbow strikes that knocks out Wofford in 1:20 of the first round.

An impressive victory and pro debut for Debbie "The Wrecking Machine" Garcia.  

Deb we are all proud of you and knew you would do great. Keep up the good work. 

Props to Deborah Wofford for stepping into the cage. You are a true warrior.
