The crowd erupts as the fighters make their way to the cage. Every warrior has spent countless hours on the mat sparring, grappling, sweating and bleeding. It all comes down to this. For those who have the guts to step into the cage, glory or heartache await. For 3 of these warriors, victory was served this night....

TABMOC and Power Team members Adrian Sanchez (Lt Wt Champion), Jay Peche (Lt Heavy Wt Champion), and Rudy Hernandez all took wins at the Xtreme Fight Championship VI, at the Austin Convention Center, June 24th.

Adrian Sanchez was the first team member to step into the cage. His opponenet Dan Dau. These two had met before with Sanchez taking home the win by decision. Dau was determined not to leave it up to the judges this night.

The fight started out with the fighters sizing each other up. Then, the fire works started. The fight was a see-saw battle between the two. Sanchez landed great leg kicks and right hooks. When the fight went to the ground it was a technical ground match with a little GNP for flavor. After a close armbar by Dau, Sanchez found his rhythm and submitted Dau in the 3rd round with a guillotine to claim the XFC Light Weight Title.

The next team member to step into the cage was Rudy Hernandez. He would face Jasper Barnet. When the bell sounded, Barnet came out fighting, catching Hernandez with a straight kick to the stomach. The fight went to the clinch, then against the cage. Hernandez then found targets for his knee strikes. Hernandez executed a perfectly timed hip throw landing him in side control then mount. From there, it was punches and elbows to Barnett, who then turned over and Hernandez secured a rear naked choke to end the fight at 2:45 of the first round.

With Team TABMOC and Power Team up to a 2-0 start, it was up to Jay Peche to bring home the perfect record. Peche would fight the current Light Heavy Wt Champ Doug Williams. This fight was all about heart. These two warroirs put on an old school slug fest. From the opening bell it was a back and forth battle between the two. In the second round Peche broke his hand, and without skipping a beat, he jumped right back in for the 3rd round. With Peche only able to throw one of his bombs, Williams seemed to gain the upper hand. But, it was short lived as Peche dug deep to end the 5 minute barn burner strong. When the fight was over, the judges declared Peche the new XFC Light Heavy Wt Champ.
