Wrestling Coach

Hello, my name is David Vasquez, and I have been involved in wrestling for 19 years and I have many youth and high school accomplishments. I grew up in California and trained with many of the best coaches and wrestlers in California. I coached at Azusa High School in California for 3 years, I then joined the Air Force and was stationed in San Antonio, where I was lucky enough to be selected head coach Of San Antonio Christian School. I have been the wrestling coach for many MMA fighters, as well as Team TABMOC’s wrestling coach. I have competed with Top level competition in Colligate, Freestyle, and Greco-roman wrestling.

I am a coach of San Antonio’s All Star team that has been selected to compete at Disney National Duals in Orlando Florida. (Top 64 allstar teams in the nation).

I am the founder and a coach of San Antonio elite wrestling team, Team Sandstorm

10 years coaching experience 5 years as head Coach

Current head Coach of San Antonio Christian Schools

6 consecutive top 8 finishes in State

I have coached:

1 national Finalist

2 National Placers

3 state Champions

12 state Finalist

20 State placers

1 CIF champion (California)

Helped coach Adrian Sanchez and Jay Peche to XFC Titles as well as train many Professional and Amateur MMA Fighters
